[Maypole] Absolute Beginners List?

i got it wrong too, 'cause as i seen on perl.com it seemed like piece of cake,
"emerge maypole" and then everything goes ok..
What I found was a maze of dependable modules with which i've not worked
until now..(I'm not complaining about that)..
So now I'm reading all docs of these modules to get the idea.. and hope to not ask
stupid questions.

otherwise I very like the idea and the way it is implementated
