[Maypole] DBI Connection problem

After installing all necessary base classes for
maypole, I still get this error after ./configure

DBI connect(dbname=t/beerdb.db",",..) failed unable to
open database file(1) at dbdimp.c line 92..
Can't call method "do" on an undefined value at
Makefile.PL line 42 <DATA> line 47

from the error_logs I'm getting:

Undefined Subroutine &BeerDB::handler called

What could be the problem?
