[Maypole] [OT] Class::DBI / DBIx::ContextualFetch problem while installing Maypole

Hi,
     sorry to post a somewhat ot message here, but my searches with 
google, testers.cpan.org and the like have failed to give me an answer.

The problem is I get many of these errors:

/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/DBIx/ContextualFetch.pm line 51.

during the installation of Class::DBI (as part of a Maypole install).
I found somewhere in the net a message saying this would not happen 
under perl 5.8.4, but happened in perl 5.8.5.
I have perl 5.8.5.
I had maypole woring until monday, when I upgraded mandrake 10.0 to 10.1
I'm wondering if I'll have to manually copy the module into the library 
directories, or if someone out there has found a better solution...
