New missionaries for WEC Japan-
Chungkyu and Unmee Lee will arrive from Korea on the 5th of this month with=
 their two children (Seungmin and Seungyeon).=20
Pray for them in all aspects of settling=2C adjusting to new circumstances=
=2C and learning Japanese language.

KGK (Kirisutosha Gakusei Kai=2C meaning Christian students fellowship) Summ=
er Camp-
Praise God for the August KGK Summer Camp. With evangelism as its primary e=
mphasis=2C about 70 students participated. Some of the non-Christians who c=
ame expressed an interest for further knowledge.=20
Please pray that these students will latch onto their own campus activities=
.

There are 5 churches belonging to WEC South Block in Japan-Yoshino=2C Rakus=
ei=2C Rakusai New Town=2C Uzumasa and Kyoto Aino.
Pray that each of the churches will be filled with God's love for the lost.=

Ask God to send His Holy Spirit to encourage each worker and leader in thes=
e churches.

Women=92s Seminar in Autumn-=20
It will be held on 15th September at Ritto Church. Mrs. Yokomi=2C who belon=
gs to Kusatsu Church=2C will lead this meeting and the guest speaker will b=
e Sawaya Yumiko.=20
Pray for God=92s blessing on the seminar and the speaker.=20
Pray that many people will attend this seminar and that their hearts will b=
e opened to God=92s Word.

Rakusei Gospel Service starts! (14th Sept. 1:30pm) =96=20
It will be held every Sunday after the service in Rakusei church.=20
Pray that Christians and non-Christians will experience the Lord=92s presen=
ce through powerful and unique Gospel worship.

The excitement of the powerful=2C unique and joyful Gospel!
=20
Rakusei Gospel Choir has been running every Thursday evening since it start=
ed in January this year.=20
Pastor Okumura and his wife Michiyo lead this music ministry=2C full of gra=
ce and joy. =20
=20
Christians and non-Christians=2C even beginners at singing=2C join together=
 for the joyful experience of singing the Gospel.=20
Anyone who would like to sing is welcomed at anytime. The church aims to us=
e this as an effective way of spreading the Gospel.=20
=20
Michiyo leads voice training for half an hour and Pastor Okumura leads a vo=
cal lesson for the rest of the time.=20
=20
They have already performed in workshop and church events=2C and have plans=
 for a few more performing events this year.=20
More members have joined the Gospel Choir recently and they are aiming to c=
ontinue moving forwards with passion and enthusiasm.=20
Things are looking very exciting.=20

Pray for the Gospel Choir members=2C that their hearts will be touched and =
that they will turn to Jesus=2C to find their place in Jesus and to get clo=
ser to Him.=20
